ੴ ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
EK ONKAR(ੴ) - The Truth is One (God is One)
"The Truth" is The Creator, Sustainer, and Destroyer. There are no other gods or beings but the One. The belief is then rejected in hinduism of three different gods that come in cycles of reincarnation into the world. The line is often mistranslated as "There is One God".
SATNAAM (ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ) - Whose Name Is Truth
Literally Sat means Truth and Naam means name.
KARTAPURAKH(ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ) - Only The Truth can give Creation existense (Making it Whole).
Only the Images God(Waheguru) Wills can have life.
NIRBHAU (ਨਿਰਭਉ ) - Without Fear
There is Only One, therefor Fear does not exist.
NIRVAIR (ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ) - Without Hatred
There is Only One, no equal that exists, no one that can challenge.
AKALMOORTH(ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ) - The Truth is Everlasting
The Truth is Omnipotent, Omnipresent.
AJUNI(ਅਜੂਨੀ ) - The Truth does not go thru the cycle of birth and death
Everything goes thru a cycle of birth/death. The Truth does not go thru reincarnation.
SAHIBHANG(ਸੈਭੰ ) - The Truth is Self Existent
There is none that Created the Almighty, God is Self Existent.
GURUPRASAD(ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ) - By The Guru’s Grace The Truth is Obtained
Grace is Given by The Truth, the Guru[Divine Teacher] is within all, as well as everywhere. By taking a step on a journey to seek The Truth, we ask for Salvation from the only Who can bestow upon us.
JAP - Chant And Meditate
AAD SUCH - True in the Primal Beginning (Even before the birth of the universes, time etc. )
JUGAD SUCH - True Throughout the Ages (Existed through the ages. )
HAIBEE SUCH - True Here And Now.
NANAK HOSI BHI SUCH - O Nanak Forever and Ever True.
